Suddenly he’s remembering this man, at the same time that the man is assigned to kill him! It just seems a little out there. I mean, suddenly he’s remembering his father and how he was part of the program. Don’t try to deny it!īC: I felt like they made up this plot as a major afterthought. I didn’t see any holes and it kept with the normal Bourne feel fast paced, adrenaline rushed, edge of your seat, oh-my-gosh-what’s-going-to-happen-next feel that we all love.

Plots make a movie and this one was full of twists that made sense and kept me on the edge of my seat. Okay, so let’s take a closer look at this movie, shall we? Starting off with my favorite thing (as you all know), which is the plot. Seeing Bourne on the screen not only for the first time, but back in his element after nine years was thrilling! Would the government give up searching for someone on their wanted list? No. It makes it more realistic and enjoyable. I don’t know about you, but I enjoy the agony with watching him and his journey and how he just isn’t left alone. The way these ended allowed our minds to imagine what Bourne was doing nowadays and with Jason Bourne, we got to see what he was doing. GC: For me, this one wasn’t a conclusion…nor was Ultimatum. I can’t exactly say that Jason Bourne disappointed me…but I feel like it needed a little more something.

Yes, I freaked when it came out, because, come on! It’s Jason Bourne! Arguably the best action/assassin movie series in existence. It only prolonged our exposure to the agony that the title character lives in. Don’t get me started on that movie! So, while Jason Bourne was a great film, I feel like the story didn’t need it. A nice summed up trilogy that leaves you on the edge of your seat! And, when I talk about the Bourne series, I don’t even consider The Bourne Legacy a part of it all. Honestly, I think this franchise was okay to be left as a trilogy. Besides the last two…and unlike other series, these movies just seem to get better and better.īC: I guess where differ in opinion concerning this movie is you think this is the best one yet, and I don’t. All of them are amazing, obviously, but this one was probably my favorite. I think it was one of the most well done movies of this series. It’s Jason Bourne. Of course I’m gonna freak out! And to be honest, this one didn’t disappoint. The plot, the twists, the acting, and of course the action…and when I heard this one was coming out, I freaked out. GC: Out of the many action films I’ve seen, this series is definitely one of my favorites. This explosive action packed thriller meets all of the requirements for its kind, including a car chase, gunfire, a mob of people, and an evil organization! Wow, is there anything that makes this movie different from the rest? That’s what we’ll be trying to find this round in the Courtroom. The potential end to the series spanning more than a decade, yet only containing 4 movies. And really, who doesn’t? I’m sure there are some out there that think Matt Damon is actually Jason Bourne.
